How To Love The Earth Daily

The most powerful way to love the Earth daily is through the Native American concept of “seven generations sustainability” which asks “How will my actions today impact the planet and its inhabitants seven generations into the future?”

Here are some simple ways to love the Earth daily using this concept:
  • Walk or ride your bike whenever possible.
  • Dispose of all of your trash properly and consciously.
  • Compost your food waste and scraps.
  • Recycle all of your glass, plastic, aluminum, paper and paper products.
  • Recycle all old cell phones, computers, electronics, batteries, printer cartridges, and other hazardous materials.
  • Volunteer to clean litter and trash in areas that need it.
  • Do all that you can to keep all of our parks, lakes, rivers, streams, oceans, beaches, and other natural resources clean, free from all litter and pollution in any form.
  • Use reusable water bottles, coffee mugs, and other containers for your beverages.
  • Use resusable shopping bags.
  • Buy organic whenever possible to keep our food, soil, animals, water supply, bodies, and environment free from pesticides, poisons, and other toxic substances.
  • Use products and services that are good for you and the planet.
  • Give your support to organizations like The Ocean Cleanup which is working, using advanced technologies, to remove the over 5 trillion pieces of plastic currently littering the world's oceans.
